If you were still holding out hope that the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe would lead to an Oasis reunion, it may be time to give that up.

As previously reported, Liam Gallagher announced a 2024 solo U.K. and Ireland tour on Monday, October 16, to celebrate the Definitely Maybe anniversary. Following the news, a fan asked Liam on social media about the potential involvement of his estranged brother and ex-bandmate, Noel Gallagher.

“He’s been asked and he’s refused,” Liam replied.

That Liam and Noel haven’t reconciled shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, given that they’ve continued to snipe at each other through the press and social media ever since Oasis broke up in 2009.

Of course, there’s still time for that to change, given that Liam’s tour doesn’t kick off until June.

Noel, meanwhile, hasn’t yet announced any touring plans to mark the Definitely Maybe anniversary.
